Home for a rest...

Hello everyone,

It’s me. Made it home safely after a LOOOOOONG trip back and my daughter and I are already into it with too much too do and too little time…LOL.

The weather’s been hot as most of you know – low to mid 30’s daily.

It was nice to come home and do the whole BATH (not shower), sleep in a queen/king size bed (not bunk), and just in general know that you don’t have to get up the next day and do ANYTHING if you don’t want to.

However, it is rather unnerving and I am assuming within a week or so it will pass, that at 0700 like clockwork, I am up and ready to go for the day…talk about bummer…I would like to sleep in just once or twice.

Not much to tell you on our end though – Jordan and I have been swimming, out to the HSBC Celebration of Lights (Fireworks Festival) on the closing night where MEXICO did their performance and were announced as this year’s winners! It was (I must say) impressive.

We joined Christina (SSSP) for dinner at Las Margarita’s and Christina and I raised a glass to you all – a nice frosty Margarita! Mmmmm.

Yesterday, to keep my folks in line (wink) we took them to the Hastings Park racetrack and bet a couple races – Jordan’s great…she’s like, I like the color of that one daddy, or this name is cool, let’s pick that one – so I did.

Today I am not sure what the plan is – Holiday Monday and all…Will keep you posted on my travels and will definitely keep in touch. Hope to hear from you all as your time permits.

To those of you that have already responded - thanks much...nice to hear from you.

As for family and friends that have been following the blog while I was on ship, thank you again for your interest and support. I will not be, as you can see, posting regularly now that I am home. Feel free to give me a shout.

Take care one and all!

Dean
