Just finished registering for the SSO's course that is being offered at the BCIT Marine Campus. I am taking the certification in continuing with my committment to personal development and hope that I emerge from the course with a more complete understanding of the career path I have chosen.
I am also looking into some other professional development with respect to security and hope to have some more information shortly.
Other than this, my shore leave ticks away slowly. I have heard from many of my friends aboard ship - all is "status quo" and I look forward to meeting up with some of them (most will be leaving before I return) when I get back.
Had a great "camp" outing this past weekend - too much fun with good friends, good food, good times....thanks to all of you that joined me. Already in the planning stages for 2007.
