Still up in the air

Well, I am still at home...now money's getting tight and I am gettin antsy.

I had to scheduled yet another appointment to appease the powers that be at H/O in the UK. As such, I am waiting for this appointment before they can clear me to return to work.

I am crossing my fingers that I will be cleared to return to sea before the end of the month. Barring that, I might seriously have to consider a job on land and giving up the great one I have now. It's sad to think it might come to that considering what I have been through to achieve the position I am in today. But, if it must be, it must be. Someone told me once, "things happen for a reason". I guess I don't mind that, as long as it doesn't interfere with me and my daughter! To think of starting all over again somewhere else is stressful enough. Oh well, what can you do.
